No, but then you get into this legal harangue, was this obtuse, was that obtuse? It's all too subjective. So I would prefer to keep it clean, and state that all rights over written and visual works presented here are held individually by the authors, and protected by The Way West, Inc. They should not be used without the expressed permission blah blah blah ("written permission of the authors"). It's true, they really shouldn't.

Also, if a visitor adds some really brilliant commentary to an existing entry... no, it is not the intellectual property of The Way West, Inc., but of the author of the comment, and is protected under the same statutes that cover all creative works.
